Joselyn Search are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Shift Engineer to work as part of an engineering team and be based at a large multi-tenanted commercial office building in Canary Wharf. The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance within a large commercial building environment, have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance with a proven track record in commercial building services. This position would be ideal for a Mechanical Shift Engineer currently in a similar position, in return the company are offering a competitive salary up £50,000 with a potential route into further career progression. Key duties & Responsibilities Carry out all aspects of mechanical maintenance activities across mechanical plant and systems Hands-on PPM and reactive maintenance Commercial heating systems AHUs, FCUs, and associated HVAC equipment. Carry out system fault-finding and diagnostics Liaise directly with the client's estates teams to ensure maintenance activities are aligned Monitor mechanical plant Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning) Water Treatment (Temperature checks xxuwjjq / Not dosing) Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc Monitor the BMS systems Supervise contractors and assist with minor project works or installations Maintain clear documentation, logbooks, and records Hours of Work & Package Info Shift Engineer Continental Shift Pattern Days & Nights Basic Salary of up to £50,000 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays Requirements Mechanical qualifications - NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 & 3
