As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting a Senior or Lead Consultant, mechanically qualified to degree level, with thermal power plant experience, to be based from our Stockport (or Glasgow) offices. We seek: a good degree in Mechanical Engineering (or close equivalent field); ideally a Chartered Engineer; excellent project management experience with complex thermal, renewable or process plant projects; experience with QA procedures and Inspection and Test Plans for new or refurbished rotating plant; practical knowledge gained in operation, commissioning or a construction role; thorough knowledge of relevant engineering standards; good understanding of process safety principles; practical experience of consultancy processes; producing professional reports, P&ID's, engineering software/models, client and contractor liaison. strong analytical and excellent communication skills; full right to work in the UK with no visa restrictions; the ability and willingness to travel both in the UK and occasionally overseas.
