Salary and Working
Salary: £40,000 - £75,000 depending on experience.
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3 to 4 days a week in the office.
Security Clearance
British Citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).

The opportunity
Test Equipment Software UK delivers the MBDA UK test capability in partnership with colleagues in Electronic Design, the Test Centre of Excellence and other areas. The mission is to facilitate robust test of missile systems and support MBDA’s military capability. The team focuses on software, hardware, simulation and real‑time systems, and embraces DevOps and innovative technologies.
Responsibilities
Develop and support software packages that use Test Equipment hardware to configure, verify and validate product conformance and quality from development through field‑test scenarios.
Qualifications & Skills
* Software or electronics engineering background with transferable talent to test solutions.
* Strong ability to write software in C, C++ and C#; Python experience is useful but not essential.
* Excellent analytical, design and review capabilities.
* Proactive, flexible problem‑solving mindset.
* Experience communicating with Systems Engineering, Electronics & Electrical and Test & Validation stakeholders.
