This role requires you to have lived in the UK for the last 5 years and obtain Security Check (SC) security clearance. Clearance must be obtained without any caveats that prevent you from carrying out the role you’ve been recruited for. Job Description

You will join our team that specialises in providing comprehensive support to both new and existing test equipment, offering Subject Matter Expertise (SME) across all aspects of ATS and Support. You will excel in developing new testing regimes from scratch, ensuring your equipment is thoroughly tested and optimised for performance.
From single Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) to complete Line Replacement Units (LRUs), you will assist in handling a wide range of equipment testing needs. You will assist in an variety of roles including Ad-Hoc advanced repairs, full Test Program Set (TPS) development, and the provision of necessary documentation using various sources such as Approved Source Information (ASI) or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) data.
Our key services include the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of ATS Test Program Sets. You will take pride in adhering to schedules and budgets for TPS development, providing ongoing support for developed TPS, designing and manufacturing TPS hardware, and offering expertise in resolving Urgent Operational Requirements (UORs) for equipment lacking OEM support.
Interviews will take place face-to-face at MOD Sealand and will commence in the week commencing Monday 30th June 2025 (please note this is subject to change).
This role does require full time site attendance alongside the potential for some hybrid working.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Manage engineering technical requirements (definition, architecture, integration, contract assessment and change management).
* Responsible for the development and maintenance of system requirements by designing, developing, testing, implementing and documenting ATS Test Program Sets
* Participate in identification, selection, evaluation, performance verification and demonstrations within the design and manufacture of TPS Hardware and test verification documentation
* Produce and provide expertise to customer for resolution of Urgent Operational Requirements (UORs) for equipment without Original Equipment Manufacturer support
* Participate and undertake the migration of ATS test solutions from obsolete platforms to currently supported platforms.
* Responsible for the implementation and delivery of the TPS development schedule and budget adherence.

Person specification
To be successful with your application, you'll need to show that you meet the following essential criteria:
* Qualified to at least HNC level or equivalent in electronic engineering. Exceptionally, appropriate industry experience may be deemed sufficient.
* Proven track record in electronic repair on various systems.
* Proven analogue and digital testing techniques
* Ability to solve complex and non-routine problems, including design and development
It will also benefit your application if you are able to demonstrate the following desirable criteria:
