Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our staff, and visitors And clients. This position requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, ensuring that all security protocols are adhered to at all times.
Duties
* Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity.
* Utilise CCTV systems to observe and report any suspicious behaviour or incidents.
* Conduct regular inspections of the premises, ensuring that all security measures are functioning effectively.
* Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid assistance when necessary.
* Collaborate with local law enforcement as needed during incidents or investigations.
* Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
* Assist in the implementation of loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage.
Experience
* Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
* Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures.
* Certification in first aid is advantageous.
* Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
