We are seeking a skilled Senior Structural Engineer to lead and deliver structural engineering projects in water, wastewater, and building infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client requirements.
* Manage structural design of water-retaining and building structures, adhering to Eurocodes, British Standards, and BIM standards.
* Develop and implement innovative solutions from conceptual design to project completion, balancing technical quality and cost considerations.
* Collaborate within multi-disciplinary project teams, contributing to project strategy and execution.
* Maintain client relationships through effective communication and presentation of technical results.
* Oversee quality assurance, technical compliance, and mentorship of junior staff.
Requirements
* Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; Chartered Engineer status or progression toward it.
* Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in design consultancy, including water and wastewater infrastructure.
* Proficiency in structural analysis and design software; experience with parametric and digital engineering (Dynamo, Python) is an asset.
* Strong understanding of structural materials (steel, concrete, timber, masonry) and Eurocode application.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
* Willingness to adapt to new technologies and travel for project needs.
