Our Supervisors take responsibility for the store and team members when required, delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring the shop looks its best, and supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Supervisor to join the Sidmouth team on a 16 Hour permanent contract.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the management team in creating a service culture within the store that puts the customer at the heart of everything they do
* Guiding the Sales Advisor team on how to recommend additional services to drive sales, including omni-channel selling, gathering customer data, and suggesting add-ons
* Supporting store leadership with driving store sales, profitability and KPI achievement
* Implementing store visual merchandising, windows standards and guidelines, and using product and category information to maximise opportunities
* Training the Sales Advisor team with thorough knowledge of the brand, products, design inspiration and services
* Communicating store performance to the team and key stakeholders, providing regular feedback and highlighting risks and opportunities
* Supporting the Store Manager with stock management, loss prevention, escalation and incident reporting, health and safety, GDPR, cash handling, and key holder responsibilities
* Being a key-holder with sole responsibility for running the store when required
Skills & Qualifications
Coaching comes naturally; the candidate will inspire team product knowledge and lead by example with customer service. Ability to drive sales, think commercially and work towards KPIs is important. Flexibility to adapt to change and comfort giving feedback to all team members, as well as sharing ideas with management to improve performance.
