Are you an ambitious Safety, Health, Environment and Quality professional looking to join a reputable regional outfit? A reputable civil engineering contractor operating are looking for you to become SHEQ Manager, covering specialist marine civil engineering schemes across the country. Due to the nature of the projects involved, you will have demonstrable experience of civil engineering environments and associated hazards.
Reporting into the Contracts Director you will be:
•Provide SHEQ compliance, advice and guidance with industry best practice across two diverse businesses.
•Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports in relation to performance against objectives, KPI targets and SHEQ performance
•Visiting various sites and integrate with the delivery teams
•Provide operational SHEQ support throughout the region and empowering sites to drive a positive culture
•Managing and improving the company integrated management system
•Assist with the implementation of the divisional and Group initiatives, and campaigns.
•Support with the completion and submission of ITT’s and PQQ’s
Knowledge of safety, health & environmental legislation and current construction practices is key. You will also be:
•Dynamic and personable
•Well-versed in ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
•Able to engage with site teams and build relationships
•Driven and autonomous with a proactive work ethic
•CMIOSH or working towards
•Experienced in Civil Engineering projects, particularly earthworks, embankments, flood defence (ESSENTIAL)
