Location: Northampton Contract: Full-time, Long-term (with potential to progress to contract) Start Date: Immediate About the Role Are you enthusiastic about supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people? Do you have experience working with individuals who find it challenging to build social and emotional relationships? There is an increasing focus within schools on supporting pupils affected by adverse childhood experiences, trauma, and social/emotional difficulties. Monarch Education is now recruiting Youth Mental Health Support Workers to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils across a range of Northampton schools for the remainder of the academic year. As a Mental Health Youth Worker, you will support pupils within the classroom and through structured activities outside of it. Working closely with teaching and pastoral teams, you will help ensure appropriate strategies and emotional support are in place. This is a full-time role with full guidance provided, opportunities for additional training, and potential progression to a contracted school position.
