Job Description
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored reading and literacy support for children with complex SEN
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs and communication styles
* Use structured approaches to support phonics, comprehension, and engagement with reading
* Build positive relationships and encourage confidence in learning
* Monitor progress and provide feedback where required
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience working with children or young people with complex SEN
* Background in education, SEN support, tutoring, or care work is highly desirable
* Understanding of strategies used to support learners with additional needs
* Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
