We are currently seeking a skilled Dev Ops Engineer to join our team. What you'll be doing: As an Azure-focused DevOps Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining automation and deployment pipelines for our web application infrastructure. Implementing infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and adhering to code-first principles for provisioning and maintaining infrastructure. Collaborating with the development team to ensure applications are reliable, scalable, and secure, while adhering to industry best practices. Supporting the operations team by ensuring system availability and optimal performance. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to web application infrastructure. Designing and implementing monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues. Managing application deployments and overseeing post-deployment monitoring. Enhancing IT infrastructure security protocols. Supporting supplier questionnaires, DPIAs, and contract reviews by providing relevant technical information. Maintaining and testing the disaster recovery process for the application infrastructure. Continuously improving processes and tools to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. What we are looking for: We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated DevOps Engineer with at least three years of proven expertise working within the Microsoft Azure cloud environment across multiple projects. You will have a deep understanding of cloud, automation, and infrastructure, and will be proficient in using tools such as Terraform, Git, Azure DevOps Pipelines, and YAML to deploy and manage complex environments. Your technical skills will include a strong working knowledge of key Azure services, such as App Services, Containers, Storage Accounts, Service Bus, Data Factories, Log Analytics, Private Endpoints, Alerts, Key Vaults, Azure B2C, and Front Door. You will have hands-on experience in deploying infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and a sound understanding of PowerShell, including familiarity with Azure PowerShell commands. As someone with an engineer's mindset, you will approach challenges with a problem-solving attitude, striving for elegant and efficient solutions. Strong communication skills will also be essential, as you will need to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, explain complex technical concepts in simple terms, and work closely with both development and operations teams. Hours The role is full-time 37.5 hours per week, where you will be expected to work during the core hours between 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
