Description
* Oversee the financial strategic planning of the organisation by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
* Develop budgets that meet the requirements of department heads.
* Ensure the organisation's financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth.
* Lead and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Prepare detailed reports on the company's financial performance.
* Collaborate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
* Implement innovative and efficient financial processes to improve productivity.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
* A degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field.
* Professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
* Proven experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit or education sector.
* Strong knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP).
* Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
* Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented approach.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
Job Offer
