Part time role available*** from 3 days per week An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Flood Risk Modeller to join a dynamic and growing team based in Hertfordshire. This role will involve working on diverse and challenging projects, providing flood risk modelling and management solutions for a variety of clients, including public and private sector organisations. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical work, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the team's continued success. Key Responsibilities ·Developing detailed hydraulic and hydrological models for flood risk assessments using industry-standard software such as TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, and HEC-RAS. ·Conducting flood risk assessments in accordance with relevant UK legislation and planning guidance. ·Designing sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and supporting the preparation of surface water management plans. ·Providing technical advice to clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring solutions align with project objectives and regulatory requirements. ·Supporting the preparation of flood risk and drainage reports for planning applications. ·Mentoring and supporting junior staff in technical development and project delivery. ·Contributing to business development by maintaining strong client relationships ...
