Working Style: Hybrid (remote and in-office in Basildon 2-3 days per week; travel at own expense)

Join Essex County Council, recognized for its outstanding Ofsted ratings, in a role supporting Children and Families through data management and analysis within Children’s Services. The role involves collaborating with teams to ensure accurate casework recording, developing data systems, analyzing service impact, and supporting administrative functions.
Accountabilities:
* Collaborate with the quadrant to ensure correct casework recording.
* Maintain accurate information and controls for compliance.
* Develop and operate data systems to monitor core services.
* Analyze data, including service user feedback, to identify trends and impacts.
* Perform administrative duties to support service efficiency.
* Collect and input data from questionnaires and monitoring activities.
* Maintain files and records, proposing improvements as needed.
* Manage enquiries and outcomes, ensuring timely escalation when necessary.
Required Experience:
* Experience in helpdesk support, providing training both face-to-face and via Teams.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in data checking.
* Effective use of IT systems for data collection and analysis.
* Knowledge of social care databases and children’s social care.
* Experience in setting up data collection and processing systems.
* Proficiency with MS applications and tools.
