Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £140 - £150 Per day Job Duties: Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher Follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans to ensure continuity in education Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and any issues that arise Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Enhanced DBS check Previous experience working as a teacher in a school setting Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners Effective classroom management techniques Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Additional subject specialisms or certifications Working Conditions: Work in a school setting with students of varying ages and abilities Potential for temporary placements in different schools Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student learning and well-being All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
