Location: This post will be based at Link’s Falkirk office, with travel required across various sites. Hours of Work: 39 per week, Monday to Friday.

The Role: At Link, people are at the heart of everything we do. An opportunity has become available for an experienced Joiner to become part of C~urb’s Planned Maintenance Team. You will provide a high quality and efficient service, carrying out all aspects of joinery work in properties owned or managed by Link Group or within service agreements to other organisations. C~urb is a partner company of Link Group and provides high quality, customer-focused repairs and maintenance services to Link tenants and other customers in Scotland’s Central Belt. In addition, we also deliver a range of planned and cyclical maintenance activities. The post is based within the planned maintenance team in which you will work as part of a multi-skilled trade team and will be responsible for carrying out kitchen and bathroom renewals, windows and doors installations, full property refurbishments and other component renewals and repairs related to domestic properties. All undertakings will be in line with statutory requirements, regulatory and technical standards, customer expectations and organisational procedures. There will be a requirement to work throughout Link's areas of operation, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential. You will be able to plan your own workload and work flexibly to ensure that timescales are met. Access to a van, power tools, mobile phone, uniform, and PPE are provided.


Responsibilities

* Carry out joinery work in properties owned or managed by Link Group or within service agreements to other organisations.
* Perform kitchen and bathroom renewals, windows and doors installations, full property refurbishments and other component renewals and repairs related to domestic properties.
* Work as part of a multi-skilled trade team in the planned maintenance area.
* Ensure all works comply with statutory requirements, regulatory and technical standards, and customer expectations.
* Plan and manage own workload with flexibility to meet timescales.
* Utilise provided equipment and resources (van, power tools, mobile phone, uniform, PPE).


About You

* Proven experience in a similar joinery role and an NVQ/City & Guilds in Joinery or equivalent.
* Competent knowledge of joinery manufactured components and awareness of other core trades related to joinery installations.
* Knowledge of a variety of traditional and non-traditional construction methods, materials, and installations.
* Commitment to excellent customer care and knowledge of health and safety requirements and their impact on work methods and customer needs.
* Full UK driving licence is essential.
