A leading employee‑owned engineering consultancy operating across Civil, Structural and Geoenvironmental disciplines is seeking a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer working remotely covering the South West Region. The business delivers high‑quality technical consultancy services across a wide range of construction and infrastructure projects for major UK and international blue‑chip clients.

You will be joining a well‑established consultancy working at the forefront of the built environment, delivering projects across multiple sectors for some of the world's leading clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivery of Phase 1 and Phase 2 geoenvironmental reports
* Design, specification and costing of ground investigation programmes
* Management of site investigations (including intrusive works)
* Technical input to remediation strategies and options appraisals
* Logging soils and rock to industry standards
* Laboratory scheduling and interpretation of geotechnical and environmental testing
* Production of high‑quality technical reports and risk assessmentsData analysis and interpretation of complex datasets
* Client, stakeholder and contractor liaison
* Supporting junior engineers through mentoring and technical guidance
* Contribution to engineering geology and foundation design input
* Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and HSE standards
Requirements
* Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or related discipline
* Master's degree desirable
* Working towards or achieved chartered status (Geological Society, CIWEM, CIEH or equivalent)
* Minimum 5 years' relevant post‑graduate experience within consultancy or ground investigation
* Strong technical understanding of contaminated land and/or geotechnical engineeringExperience managing site investigations and delivering technical reporting
* Strong analytical and report writing skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Right to work in the UK
* Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
