JOB: Criminal Duty Solicitor SALARY: DOE A well-established firm based in Manchester Summary of role - Handling a varied caseload of private and legal aid funded criminal defence cases - Representing clients from initial caution through to case conclusion - Dealing with ranging matters from police caution through to Magistrates / Crown Court Main tasks and responsibilities - Manage a range of criminal cases, including traffic matters, serious violence, murder, sexual offences, fraud, and public order and dishonesty - Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing commercially viable advice and support - Provide representation in court, ensuring the best possible outcome for clients - Work collaboratively with other departments within the firm to provide comprehensive legal services - To ensure confidentiality of the firm's and clients' documents and information, maintaining the highest standard of client care.
