Room Auditors Role Overview We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Student Room Auditors. This role involves conducting hourly headcounts of students across a designated route within university buildings. Using a paper-based form and clipboard, you will record occupancy data that directly informs high-level management reports and strategic planning. 10th November to 14th November – must be able to cover the full week. There is the possibility for someone to do full-time shifts, which will be about which will be a 43-hour week (one hour for lunch) with short breaks on each walk round - each audit walk lasts about 40 minutes. ️ Working Hours for Talbot Campus or Lansdowne Campus We are hiring for two shifts:Shift/Days/Time - Total Weekly Hours Morning (x4 staff)Mon–Fri9:00 AM – 2:00 PM25 hours per personAfternoon (x4 staff)Mon–FriVaries (see below)23 hours per person Afternoon Shift Breakdown: (6pm finish every day on Lansdowne Campus)Talbot Campus hours: (PM) Monday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM Thursday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM Friday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM Key Responsibilities Walk a pre-assigned route across campus buildings each hour. Record the number of students present in each room using a hardcopy form. Ensure data is collected consistently and accurately throughout the shift. ✅ Essential Requirements Strong timekeeping and reliability — full shift attendance is critical. Ability to work independently without supervision. Comfortable walking long distances across campus buildings. Smart casual attire with comfortable footwear. £15.12 an hour - one weeks work.
