About the Job
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Audit & Accounts Assistant to further develop their experience within a supportive and professional environment. You will play a key role in delivering audit and accounts services, working with a diverse client base while enhancing your technical expertise.
Duties will include:
* Managing audit and accounts assignments from planning through to completion
* Supporting senior team members on complex engagements and leading smaller assignments
* Working across both office and client sites as required
* Liaising directly with clients to support the delivery of assignments
* Delegating work to junior staff and providing guidance and feedback
* Monitoring progress against budgets and deadlines, addressing any issues proactively
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures
* Keeping up to date with accounting standards and professional developments
About the Successful Applicant
You will be ACA or ACCA qualified, or QBE, with proven experience in an accountancy practice environment. You will demonstrate strong technical ability, excellent organisational skills, and confidence in client-facing situations. A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to support and guide junior team members are essential.
