AREA DIRECTOR - ESTATE AGENCY Location: Wolverhampton (must reside within the designated area) Salary: Basic £35K OTE £80K plus car or car allowance Position: Full time, permanent The Opportunity An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estate Agency leader to step into a strategic Area Director role, overseeing performance across a defined multi function territory. Working closely with the Estate Agency Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, market share and operational excellence across the area. This is a high impact leadership position suited to a commercially minded property professional who thrives on driving performance, developing people and growing market share across multiple business streams. You will lead from the front, ensuring a culture of canvassing, prospecting and proactive business generation while building a high performing and motivated team. The Role As Area Director, you will be responsible for supporting the Estate Agency Director in delivering the strategic operating plan for the area. You will oversee sales performance, market share growth and operational standards across the estate agency network while also supporting collaboration across associated services including financial services, legal services and land and new homes. Key responsibilities include: - Driving listings, instructions and market share across the area - Embedding a strong culture of canvassing, prospecting and new business generation - Supporting the development and delivery of the area's strategic growth plan - Leading and developing a high performing area team - Ensuring divisional objectives and performance standards are clearly understood and achieved - Creating a coaching led culture that drives performance and accountability - Monitoring operational and financial performance against plans and budgets - Identifying opportunities to improve profitability and market position - Ensuring full compliance with operational policies, procedures and legislation - Supporting recruitment, development and retention of high calibre estate agency professionals - Working collaboratively across business streams to maximise operational efficiency - Leading local marketing initiatives and brand presence within the area - Maintaining a strong reputation for professionalism across both consumer and B2B markets - Supporting internal audit processes and ensuring compliance standards are maintained - Ensuring health and safety standards are upheld across the area - Acting as a key member of the divisional leadership team and contributing to strategic direction About you We are looking for a confident and commercially driven property professional who can lead teams, influence performance and deliver strong business results. You will ideally have strong estate agency leadership experience and a proven ability to drive market share and revenue growth.
