Role Purpose
We are looking for a proactive, professional Sales & Training Coordinator to drive client-facing activity at Bowtec. You will manage sales enquiries, follow up with clients, and help secure new business, while also ensuring our training materials and documentation are polished, professional, and client-ready. This role is ideal for someone confident, organised, and commercially minded, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Sales & Business Development
* Act as the first point of contact for client enquiries (email, phone, web).
* Log and track enquiries in CRM, prepare quotes, and follow up until closure.
* Close small–medium sales independently; escalate larger opportunities to the operations manager.
* Build strong relationships with existing clients (regular check-ins, after-delivery feedback, repeat business opportunities).
* Prospect new clients (via LinkedIn, networking, and tender portals such as Sell2Wales).
* Support tender submissions with professional proposals and evidence packs.
Training Coordination
* Maintain and update Bowtec’s training presentations, manuals, and handouts.
* Ensure all training material is accurate, branded, and of high presentation quality.
* Liaise with trainers and clients to gather feedback and continuously improve course content.
* Support scheduling of training delivery: coordinate with the freelance trainer pool, match trainers to courses, and confirm logistics with clients.
Client-Facing Support
* Represent Bowtec in meetings and presentations with clients (e.g. NRW, contractors).
* Prepare polished proposals, decks, and sales materials for business development.
* Act as a consistent, reliable point of contact to strengthen client relationships.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven experience in sales support, coordination, or client services.
* Confident dealing with clients directly, both in writing and in meetings.
* Excellent organisation, able to manage multiple priorities.
* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
Desirable
* Experience in training, education, or construction sectors.
* Knowledge of tendering and bid processes.
* Ability to design or improve training and presentation material.
