Salary: £13.20 per hour (Paid breaks)
Contract: Permanent
Shift Pattern: Full & Part‑time, 12‑hour shifts 08:00‑20:00
Starter Bonus: £500 payable after completing four weeks’ service (subject to tax and NI)
Job Description
We provide luxury retirement living at Richmond Villages. Our Care Assistants play a vital role in delivering person‑centred care, supporting residents’ independence and health.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with a high standard of clinical, social and emotional care, recognising and meeting their specific needs.
* Support residents with a wide range of requirements, from companionship to personal care.
* Work as part of a team to support nurses or senior care assistants in monitoring residents and reporting changes.
* Communicate with residents’ families, friends and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Compassionate and patient approach to care.
* Ability to work effectively within a team.
* Willingness to complete a DBS check (cost covered by Bupa £40).
