About this opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to manage the Complex Safeguarding Team across Westmorland and Furness.
The successful candidate will develop, promote, and support a Contextual Safeguarding response to Child Exploitation, managing a team of intervention workers. They will oversee all children in W&F with concerns related to Child Exploitation or missing, ensuring procedures are followed to identify risks and ensure safety.
The role involves working closely with Social Work teams and partner organizations to ensure effective joint efforts. Candidates should have experience managing complex safeguarding issues and liaising with partner agencies to enhance responses to Child Exploitation and missing persons. Attendance at multi-agency meetings and representing the local authority on these issues is also required.
