Based in Bury St Edmunds and working with clients across a broad range of sectors including Media, Property, Entertainment, Luxury Retail and Professional Services; your responsibilities as Bookkeeper will include:
Communicating regularly with clients to request their accounting records
General bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations, processing expenses
Maintaining Sales and Purchase Ledgers
Preparing VAT returns
Invoicing on behalf of clients
Managing client bank accounts and processing payments on their behalf
Preparing management accounts
The ideal candidate will have experience of working on both Xero and QuickBooks. Our client is able to offer the successful candidate a competitive salary, a marketing leading benefits package and study support towards the AAT / ACCA qualification.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
Experience of working on various software packages (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
A good academic record, with good attention to detail
Started / be will to start an accounting qualification (AAT or ACCA)
A minimum of 12 months bookkeeping experience at a UK accountancy firm
