Job Title: Stock Management & Planning Specialist
Join our team and be responsible for accurate stock management planning and forecasting within your designated range. Your role will involve managing optimal stock levels to ensure product availability and meet profit targets.
You will work closely with the Senior Buyer to analyze range performance, launch new products, and drive long-term improvements in availability and waste reduction.
What you will do:
1. Forecasting & Inventory Planning:
* Drive sales and product availability through effective forecasting and inventory management.
* Maintain accuracy of all product and supplier data.
* Manage availability and waste within your category.
* Coordinate with the Purchasing Team for seasonal product transitions and event planning (e.g., Christmas).
* Monitor daily price fluctuations and ensure data accuracy.
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery.
* Ensure supplier payments are processed on time.
1. Stakeholder Management:
* Communicate effectively with IT and Sales Teams to optimize stock management across the supply chain.
* Collaborate with Operations Teams to plan deliveries and collections within the UK and Europe.
* Oversee product quality throughout the supply chain and work with QC teams to improve quality and freshness.
What you will need:
* Experience in buying assistance or supply planning roles within the food industry.
* Understanding of negotiation and supplier management.
* Ownership mindset with a track record of continuous improvement and process change implementation.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Proactive attitude with high initiative and opportunity-seeking behavior.
