Applications are invited for a highly motivated Cardiac Physiologist to join the Cardiology Department at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust.
Position Details
The successful candidate will work primarily at a newly built Community Diagnostic Centre in New Addington and at both Croydon University Hospital and Purley War Memorial Hospital on a rotational basis.
A team supporting a complement of 9 Cardiologists includes cardiac physiologists, assistant practitioners, specialist registrars, and specialist nurses, along with a dedicated clerical team.
The department performs a full range of non-invasive and invasive procedures and has an established pacemaker, ICD, and CRT implant and follow-up service.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform non-invasive Cardiology diagnostic procedures.
* Perform Ambulatory ECG analysis.
* Opportunity for training towards British Society of Echocardiography or British Heart Rhythm Society Accreditation if not already held.
Candidate Profile
The role is ideal for an enthusiastic, experienced Cardiac Physiologist committed to delivering high-quality services.
The candidate should be a specialist in Ambulatory ECG analysis with experience in other areas of non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing.
Additional Responsibilities
In addition to clinical duties, the post holder will have managerial and educational responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience in a Cardiology department is required. The role is demanding and requires the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
