Service & Installation Engineer
Location: Stockport (with some UK and international travel – primarily USA)
Salary: circa£55,000 DOE + Bonus + Pension
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
I'm recruiting on behalf of a growing engineering manufacturer in Stockport, specialising in the design and build of high-precision inspection and simulation machinery. Due to business growth and an increase in international projects, they are looking to appoint an experienced Service & Installation Engineer to take on a technically advanced, customer-facing and hands-on role.
Working closely with the Project Lead – and ideal for someone who can combine strong practical engineering ability with problem-solving and customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities – Service & Installation Engineer
Installation & Field Service
* Electrical and mechanical installation of equipment across UK and international client sites (primarily the USA).
* Perform fault-finding and troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical and software-related issues (with support from the software team)
* Read and interpret CAD drawings, wiring schematics and engineering diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
