This initiative is designed for residents of the Vale of Glamorgan who have little or no care experience and are interested in starting a meaningful career in the sector. The programme offers: One-to-one support from the Communities for Work team A 3-day WeCare Wales Introduction to Social Care course Access to training from the Vale of Glamorgan Council Job-matching with over 20 local care providers Ongoing support with applications, interviews, and further training Participants can also access accredited training aligned with their preferred care roles, including: Emergency First Aid Manual Handling Infection Control Medication Awareness If you live in the Vale of Glamorgan and are looking to start a rewarding career in care, this could be your next step.
