Senior Network Engineer – Hampshire offices + Hybrid working options

Our client’s software products are used by Fortune 100 corporations globally and the Senior Network Engineer will play a key role in the implementation and support of their on-prem and cloud-based Carrier Grade network infrastructure.
The Network Engineer will join an established team supporting global customers at a senior level – the preference is for candidates to have experience with AWS / VPC, but those who have established on-prem/Data Centre Network troubleshooting backgrounds in enterprise environments will also be considered.

Core responsibilities:
* Support and integrate Carrier Grade Networks for a range of external customers
* Implement Cloud service integrations, Data flows, AWS, Cloud VPN, etc
* Support and configure firewalls, switches, and routers
* Test Cloud based network devices, Firewalls, Load Balancer
* Communicate effectively with team members and external customers
Key requirements:
* 5+ years’ in a Network Engineering role within an Ops or Engineering environment
* Extensive background of Network support and implementation – awareness of security, reliability, and scalability
* Strong Cisco experience and certifications – CCNA, CCNP or similar
* Understanding of YAML, JSON
* Experience configuring AWS, VPC endpoints is desirable
* Familiar with AWS Route53, AWS Routing is desirable
* Telco; VoIP, SIP Peering and Trunking is desirable
