Housing Options provides advice and assistance under the Council’s corporate duty to help clients who are homeless or under threat of homelessness. The service provides assistance to vulnerable people when they are at greatest need
About the job
The post holder will lead and motivate a team responsible for undertaking legal homeless decisions, with a main objective of Homelessness Prevention ensuring that an efficient and effective service is provided to clients.
To continuously review the effectiveness of the Prevention services and to lead on projects for service improvement.
What We Are Looking For From You
Proven experience of working with people faced with homelessness will be an advantage.
The working environment can be challenging so the ability to remain calm under pressure will be an advantage. The role will require the successful candidate to support the management team with all aspects of the service.

This post is temporary until 31/03/2025.
