What the day will look like
* Assisting in the monthly operational governance process and producing output suitable for inclusion.
* Escalation, tracking, and completion of actions raised in audit and assurance work.
* Delivery of successful operational and business-related change projects as needed.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver company initiatives.
* Assisting with change management and operational improvements.
* Identifying and implementing key change projects that improve operational efficiency or regulatory adherence, including project management and other ad-hoc support as required.
* Working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and ensuring compliance with policies, including participation in risk management and mandatory training, to protect the business interests and reputation of the Group.
* Managing key stakeholders and developing relationships with business colleagues.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
* Enthusiastic team player
* Excellent analytical, numerical, and information-gathering skills
* Strong interpersonal skills, including well-developed influencing abilities
* Understanding of the insurance industry, particularly claims, would be an advantage
* Strong track record in change management and operational improvement or process re-engineering
* Flexibility of thought, allowing plans to be adjusted as performance dictates
* Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and data configuration, with the ability to utilise data to support recommendations and inspire change
