Casual Service Support Worker - Regulated Service
Location: Community Work, based at British Red Cross, Dundee Technology Park, Dundee, DD SW, with travel around Dundee
Hours: Various, as and when required
Contract type: Casual
Salary: £ per hour
Driving Requirement: A full driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred but not mandatory

A day in the life of an Assessment Support Worker will include:
1. Flexible working and fast-paced changes.
2. Providing practical and emotional assistance to individuals in their homes, assessing their needs.
3. Working closely with people, families, and professionals to create tailored care plans.
4. Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, meal prep, medication management, and mobility support.
5. Collaborating with healthcare professionals, social workers, and team members for coordinated care.
6. Monitoring progress and adjusting care plans as needed.
7. Maintaining accurate documentation of interactions, care plans, and progress.
To be a successful Assessment Support Worker, you'll need:
* Previous experience in a similar care setting, preferably healthcare or social care.
* Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a desire to positively impact lives.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of person-centred care principles, with a commitment to dignity and autonomy.
* Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
* A full driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred but not mandatory.
