Position
Fixed term Maternity Cover contract until June 2027 with Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council.
Location
Coroners Court, Jack Judge House, Oldbury.
Role Overview
Support the operational activities of the Black Country Coroners Service covering Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administration support for Inquests, including preparation of documents and scheduling.
* Communicate with deceased families via telephone, face‑to‑face and email, providing compassionate assistance during a difficult time.
* Assist the Coroner with jury setup and the facilitation of all attendees on court days.
Qualifications
* Excellent ICT and administration skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Motivated, efficient and compassionate.
