This is a 12-month locum post supporting ENT services within WWL NHS Trust, with a subspecialty interest in Benign Head and Neck tumours and diagnostic Head and Neck Cancers.
You will work within the ENT Department, reporting to the Service Lead for ENT and the Medical Director of the Trust.
The role involves working as a Locum Consultant in ENT, providing comprehensive management of referred patients, including ward rounds, clinics, theatre sessions, supervision of junior staff, teaching, and CPD activities. The service also emphasizes clinical audit, service improvement, and research to meet local health economy demands.
Responsibilities include:
1. Providing specialist advice and clinical care to patients.
2. Working with colleagues to provide effective clinical leadership.
3. Contributing to service development.
4. Undertaking 'consultant of the day' duties.

Flexibility in job planning is acknowledged to facilitate overlap with colleagues.
