Who Were Looking For: An Experienced Year 5 Teacher
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Year 5 Teacher who is committed to delivering exceptional learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE).

Demonstrable experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum.

An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness for one).
*
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.

A strong commitment to delivering high:quality, engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning.
Your Role as a Year 5 Teacher:
As the class teacher for Year 5, your core duties will include:

Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective lessons that adhere to the national curriculum standards for Year 5.

Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Effectively managing classroom behaviour to ensure a productive and safe atmosphere.

Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.

Collaborating seamlessly with school staff, including the Key Stage 2 team and SENCO, to ensure consistent and effective teaching approaches.

Providing constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress and personal development.

Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding their childs progress.
