They are creating a dedicated compliance specialist position to ensure their products meet GPSR, WEEE, and packaging compliance standards. This part-time role is perfect for an experienced professional looking to shape a vital function in a close-knit team. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and ensure compliance with the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) and other relevant UK and EU regulations. Manage and maintain technical files and documentation for all products. Coordinate and oversee quality control checks to ensure products meet safety and quality standards. Ensure compliance with WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) regulations and proper disposal of electronic waste. Oversee packaging compliance, ensuring that packaging materials meet environmental regulations and are properly labelled. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that products meet all necessary standards before shipment. Stay updated on changes to regulations and communicate these changes to relevant stakeholders. Prepare and submit necessary reports and certifications to authorities. Desired Attributes, Experience & Qualifications: Previous experience in product compliance, quality assurance, or a related field. Strong understanding of UK and EU regulations (GPSR, WEEE, packaging, etc.). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills for working with suppliers, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
