WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
To become a Lecturer in our Public Services department, we need someone who is passionate about education, experienced in the field, and committed to inspiring the next generation of professionals through engaging, inclusive, and practical teaching.
The successful candidate will have the chance to acquire new skills and develop their abilities in a wide range of activities.
We have a variety of students from the surrounding area, we are a welcoming and inclusive community that champions diversity and equality across our college.
Our departments collaborate to establish and uphold the inclusive HoW culture, we keep this in mind as we manage interactions with the public, fellow employees, and nearby schools.
This position is based cross campus, all applicants must be prepared to travel to our campuses or surrounding areas as required.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
To find a more detailed list of your day-to-day responsibilities, please refer to the key roles and accountabilities section on our Job Description. In summary, as someone who has experience of working in the wider Public Services or allied industries, you will support in many aspects. To name a few:
1. To teach across a range of programmes from Level 1- Level 5 in Public Services and associated areas.
2. To develop further courses in Public Services and associated areas.
3. To take an active part in the recruitment of learners providing appropriate advice and guidance.
