Job Title: Head Housekeeper
Join Hamberley Neurocare at Lovell Place, a luxury care home providing residential, dementia, and nursing care for older adults. We are seeking a dedicated Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our residents.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the housekeeping team to create a warm, homely environment that supports quality care.
2. Maintain all areas of the care home, including bedrooms, communal spaces, and bathrooms, ensuring they are clean and hygienic.
3. Oversee laundry and linen services, respecting residents' personal belongings.
4. Manage staff rotas, conduct training, and supervise team members for efficient operation.
5. Interact with residents to offer assistance and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
6. Collaborate with caregivers and staff to support the care plan and home operations.
Requirements
* Previous domestic experience in a care home setting.
* Flexible, reliable, and committed to providing first-class service.
* Basic knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations.
* Empathy and a desire to positively impact residents' lives.
* Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and work independently.
