Commercial Litigation Solicitor, 6+ Years PQE, Cheltenham £62,000+ (DOE) – This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior role within a nationally recognised dispute resolution practice, where you’ll lead on complex, high-value matters and play an integral role in the future growth of the department. JOB REF: 1697.
Responsibilities
* You’ll work across a broad range of commercial litigation matters including contractual and corporate litigation, fraud, professional negligence, and contentious regulatory matters.
* Advise clients on contractual, corporate, regulatory, and negligence disputes
* Manage cases from pre-action strategy through to trial and enforcement
* Draft and review pleadings, witness statements, and settlement documents
* Coordinate expert witnesses, counsel, and cross-functional legal teams
* Build and grow client relationships across key sectors
* Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and trainees
* Support the strategic direction of the litigation team, driving innovation and excellence
Skills Required
* Applications sought from solicitors with 6+ years PQE in commercial litigation, ideally from a leading UK or international firm
* Proven experience in handling high-value and multi-jurisdictional disputes
* A client-first, commercially aware mindset with strong problem-solving ability
* A confident communicator and negotiator with outstanding drafting and advocacy skills
* Demonstrated leadership in supervising junior colleagues and contributing to business growth
* A proactive, collaborative and ambitious approach to work
