Zenith Training is seeking a Lean Engineering and Manufacturing Trainer to join us. The role involves designing and delivering excellent teaching, learning, and assessment sessions for accredited and non-accredited Skills Bootcamp and Apprenticeship programmes in Lean, Warehousing, Engineering, and Manufacturing. You will also provide impartial information, advice, guidance, and support to candidates participating in employer-specific training programmes, preparing them for interviews and assessments with employers. Additionally, work closely with colleagues to identify alternative progression opportunities where required.
The role responsibilities include:
* Deliver high-quality vocational, employability, and career development sessions (both accredited and non-accredited) tailored to learner needs and course demands.
* Collaborate with employers on developing training programmes that meet their requirements and add value to learners.
* Support the achievement of contractual targets for learner retention and success rates.
* Complete attendance registers, assessment documents, and reviews in line with processes.
* Monitor learner progress to ensure continuous learning and timely achievement.
* Gather feedback from learners on support materials to review and improve the learning experience.
* Follow systems and processes aligned with contractual deadlines.
* Provide effective CEIAG to support learner progression.
* Offer feedback during reviews on learner progress.
* Deliver outcomes in line with current KPIs and business performance targets.
* Promote safeguarding, British values, prevent, numeracy, and literacy within all sessions.
* Complete administrative paperwork associated with programme delivery within required timescales.
* Promote and monitor equality and diversity, recording any issues that arise.
* Have recent experience in delivering and assessing accredited qualifications and career development.
* Possess occupational competency in Lean Manufacturing Techniques, Engineering Principles, or Logistics.
* Hold a Level 3 teaching qualification or higher.
* Be willing to work towards IAG Level 2 or above if not already qualified.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience working independently and using initiative.
* Understand different learning styles and how to differentiate teaching methods accordingly.
* Motivated self-starter who can motivate learners.
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging, motivational sessions tailored to individual learner needs.
* Willingness to work flexible hours and locations as required.
* Demonstrate Zenith Training behaviours and standards consistently.
* Flexible, committed, and enthusiastic attitude.
* Assist with large-scale recruitment campaigns as needed.
* Maintain a safe and tidy workplace.
* Possess a full, clean driving license and have access to a vehicle; willingness to travel is essential (business insurance required).
