GCSE Tutor - Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured GCSE lessons that inspire and motivate students
* Support exam preparation through revision strategies, past paper practice, and targeted guidance
* Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
* Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians to provide updates on progress and achievements
* Foster a positive, encouraging, and focused learning environment
Requirements:
* Strong subject knowledge in the relevant GCSE area(s)
* Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred
* Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one
* Punctual, patient, and approachable with excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to create a motivating, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
