Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their development and wellbeing.
Duties
* Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Develop and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, ensuring each child's individual needs are met.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's achievements.
* Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and welcoming at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
* Support the management team in daily operations and contribute to the overall success of the nursery.
Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (Level 3).
* Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* Strong management and leadership skills to guide less experienced staff members.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
