Overview

Initial shortlisting may prioritise applicants from specific NHS trusts and the Integrated Care Board for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly as part of local recruitment principles. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Trust HQ as an Executive Assistant. The role is integral to the smooth running of the department by working closely with the Executive Assistants and Executive Directors.
The role provides high level, efficient and quality administrative support to the Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Nursing Officer. It involves coordinating the day-to-day management of the Executive Director’s office in a professional, efficient and confidential manner.
Responsibilities
* Organise and prioritise emails and correspondence; act, respond to, or redirect as appropriate. Be alert to urgent correspondence and requests for information.
* Manage arrangements for meetings initiated by the Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Nursing Officer. Proactively manage the full process, including timely preparation and dissemination of agendas for executive meetings chaired by the Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Nursing Officer. Demonstrate a high level of skill when arranging, attending and taking minutes of meetings at all levels.
* Line management of a team of three administrative staff for the deputies to the Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Nursing Officer, including appraisals and attendance management.
