The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join a busy and supportive legal team. This role offers the chance to handle a varied caseload, advising clients on commercial, contractual, and civil disputes, and representing them in negotiations and proceedings.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising clients on a wide range of civil and commercial disputes.
* Preparing and drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court applications.
* Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court hearings where appropriate.
* Managing cases from initial instruction through to resolution.
* Conducting legal research and maintaining accurate case records.
* Ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
* Supporting colleagues and contributing to the smooth running of the department.
About You
* Qualified solicitor with relevant dispute resolution experience.
* Strong understanding of civil and commercial litigation processes.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with a client-focused approach.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently as well as part of a team.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
