The Quality Officer plays a key role in supporting the work of the Quality Office and the wider University in assuring and enhancing academic standards. The post holder will contribute to the effective operation of quality assurance and enhancement processes, including programme validation and review, oversight of established quality systems, the servicing of key committees, and the provision of advice and guidance to colleagues.
Short summary of Job Details
Responsible for managing and keeping updated the module Data sets and ensure that the relevant information held by the Quality and Secretariat Division for the Key Information Sets is kept up to date.
Maintain, update and further develop the Key Information Sets working with Marketing, Admissions and other members of the Quality Office.
Responsible for monitoring records of validation and review events and in the implementation and tracking of action points.
To be responsible for the External Examiner Process, including monitoring, correspondence and all administrative processes for external examiners, finance and fees payment.
Short summary of main essential criteria
* Degree level or equivalent
* Working within an educational environment, particularly higher education
* Working in a quality assurance role.
* Experience of taking minutes and notes and organising all elements for meetings
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail as well as able to work well in both a team and on their own and experience of office packages.
