Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Fitzwilliam Hospital, Peterborough
Part-time, 25 hours
The Fitzwilliam and Boston West Hospitals are seeking to recruit an experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist on a part time contracted basis. You will join a small, friendly, dynamic team who deliver high quality, evidenced based care and treatment to a wide range of patients. Hours are flexible to suit the applicant though must support department need.
Our services include MSK & orthopaedic rehabilitation, Women’s and Men’s Health & Hand therapy. Experience of independently managing a broad clinical caseload that differs in complexity is essential. As is possessing excellent communication and organisational skills and having had experience in supporting/supervising junior colleagues. Sound knowledge of clinical governance is advantageous.
There may be opportunity to take an active role in supporting the department in audit and reviewing service delivery to support the departments continuous growth and development.

The hospital is situated in the quiet landscaped grounds of the Milton Estate in Peterborough and has 54 single bedrooms and 1 twin-bedded room, all with en suite facilities. The hospital provides services for both private and NHS patients.
In this role there is the opportunity to work across both Fitzwilliam Hospital and our Boston West Hospital based in Lincolnshire.
What you’ll bring with you
1. Relevant degree in Physiotherapy with appropriate MSK experience
2. Current HCPC Registration
3. Current member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
4. Ability to undertake a full Clinical caseload of MSK outpatients including direct referrals and post-op patients with a wide variety of conditions
5. Strong clinical reasoning and evidence‑based practice.
6. Excellent communication and patient‑education skills.
7. Ability to manage time, prioritise, and work autonomously.
8. Experience in group and 1:1 rehabilitation.
9. Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office
10. Proficient in running relevant post op and other classes required by your line manager
