Description
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead our elderly residential care home, providing exceptional care and support to older people with a range of needs, including dementia and complex health conditions.
As the Registered Manager, you will be CQC-registered and responsible for the overall leadership, management, and quality of the service. You will create a warm, safe, and person-centred environment where residents feel valued, respected, and supported to live fulfilling lives.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an established manager or a strong deputy looking to step up into a leadership role.
Responsibilities
* Provide effective leadership and day-to-day management of the home and staff team.
* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, the Health and Social Care Act 2008, and the Fundamental Standards.
* Deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to the individual needs of residents.
* Oversee care planning, risk assessments, medication management, and safeguarding processes.
* Lead recruitment, supervision, training, and professional development of staff.
* Manage budgets, rotas, and resources effectively.
* Foster positive relationships with residents, families, local authorities, GPs, and health professionals.
* Prepare for and manage CQC inspections, aiming for a minimum rating of "Good" or above.
* Ensure systems for quality assurance, reporting, and continuous improvement are embedded.
Qualifications
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or working towards).
* Minimum 2 years' management experience in a residential or nursing home setting.
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, dementia care, and best practice in elderly care.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
