Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs in a nurturing primary school environment? We have an exciting opportunity for an SEN Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded primary school in Garston, starting immediately.
About the Role
* Provide 1:1 support for a Year 1 child with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) and ADHD, ensuring consistency and emotional stability.
* Use play-based and structured learning activities to promote engagement, communication, and progress.
* Assist with behaviour regulation strategies and encourage positive social interactions.
* Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to implement tailored interventions.
* Support with personal care if required and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
