Overview
This is a full-time role for a Legal Secretary at Morison & Smith Solicitors in Airdrie. The Legal Secretary will be responsible for tasks such as legal document preparation, managing diaries, and providing clerical support. The successful candidate shall join our Conveyancing team and Conveyancing experience is essential however training shall be provided.
Duties
* Previous experience as a Legal Secretary
* Ability to prepare letters and documents
* Diary Management
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Attention to detail and accuracy in work
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Experience
* Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment is preferred.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong IT skills.
* Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanour.
* Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures will be advantageous.
